“We have completed another consultation between Iran and the US in Muscat today in Muscat. The discussion included useful and original ideas that reflected a common desire to reach an honorable agreement,” Omani’s top diplomat said in a post on indirect Iran-US nuclear negotiations held in Muscat’s Muscat on Sunday.
“The fifth round consultation will take place when both parties consult with leadership,” he added.
Earlier on Sunday, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeir Bagaei said the fourth round of indirect talks between Iran and the US via Oman ended three hours on Sunday.
“The fourth round of indirect Iran-US negotiations is over. The next round was written in X. by a spokesman for Iran’s Foreign Ministry and a spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs who accompanied Iran’s mandate.
A journalist on the American website Axios told me in a post on X on Sunday, “The fourth round of US and Iran’s nuclear talks in Oman ended after more than three hours,” an intelligent source told me.
According to the Associated Press, US officials said on Sunday’s talks in Oman “we have reached an agreement to proceed with consultations to continue working through technical elements.” Officials also said, “We are encouraged by today’s outcome and look forward to the next meeting that will take place in the near future.”
