Tehran – In the choppy sea of international plots, the truth can sink faster than the target vessel. When US forces destroyed a 12-meter “flipper” speedboat from Venezuela and killed all 11 people, President Trump welcomed it as a strike against “Venezuelan criminal organization linked to Maduro.” But it hurts the surface, and it doesn’t look like justice than a planned attack.
Reports from El Pitazo undermines the American narrative. The boat with four 200 horsepower engines left San Juan de Unali for Trinidad and Tobago, a corridor for fishermen and immigrants.
The eight deaths were locals. The three came from nearby towns, including the owner’s son. The owner tracked the containers using GPS and was not sure if the cargo was a drug. The other two boats reportedly carried drugs along the same route that night without our interference.
Trump’s claim that the boat was bound by US credibility: the distance and course are incredible. Otherwise, bend the facts as an excuse to assemble it – missiles targeting the truth as well as ships.
Locals at San Juan de Unarair won the reels from the strike. Whatever the boat carried, the man was executed without trial, evidence or jurisdiction. “Innocent up to proven guilty” is the foundation of the law. Here, America acted as a judge, jury and executioner in international waters.
This is not a routine “drug prevention,” but an extrajudicial killing, and, more sinisterly, the opening salvo. The Navy patrol has transformed into a fatal strike.
Thousands of US sailors and marines are deployed in the Caribbean. The advanced F-35 jets are reportedly operated from Puerto Rico, with their own sortie costs. The administration’s rhetoric “will take on drug cartels wherever they are,” said Secretary Marco Rubio. The door was left open for strikes in Venezuela.
The playbook is recycled. In 2019, Washington expelled Maduro with Juan Guaido as the “interim president.” Sanctions hit the economy. In 2020, Operation Gideon, a mercenary raid tied to Guaidó’s orbit, failed. The Washington lessons were rebranded. This is a change in the system that was dressed to Counter Alcotics.
Hypocrisy is noticeable. Trump ended the eternal war, but he escalated a new front while conflict boiled elsewhere. At home, the work will be revised downwards and the Tower of Debt is revised, but billions are funding military stances. All missiles, sorties, and “shows of force” in the Caribbean will walk the bill’s taxpayers while domestic needs are postponed.
Endgame is not cocaine or fentanyl. UN data shows that Venezuela plays a small role in US-bound drugs. What it has is the relationship between the world’s largest proven oil reserves and multipolar orders fixed by Russia, China and Iran. That’s why it targets Caracas. Cartels are smoke screens. The real prize is dominant – the doctrine of Monroe redux.
The leak draft of the Pentagon’s latest defense strategy (reported by Politico) shows a shift. It moves US priorities from countering China’s “protection of its homeland and the Western Hemisphere.” It is intended to pull troops from Europe and Western Asia while pushing warships, F-35s, and National Guard units onto the Caribbean and southern borders.
This change of direction is already seen in maritime strikes and growing militarization. By embedding Venezuela in this focal point, the leakage signals more than a bureaucratic reshuffle. Under the flag of CounterAlcotics, Washington has laid the foundation for conflict, making war with Venezuela an increasingly possible scenario, rather than a distant possibility.
Maduro says that if Venezuela is attacked in any way, the country will move into the “stage of armed struggle.” This stance shows that Caracas is prepared to join forces and forces. Venezuela defended sovereignty with an army of over 100,000 people, about 220,000 militias, SU-30MK2 jets and S-300VM systems, and did not make the invasion a cakewalk.
The oil shock could ripple in the market. Escalation threatens the lives of Venezuela and our interests.
Combined with the military industrial complex, Corporate State Nexus sells “democracy” as access to the market, maintaining hemisphere hypocrisy. Americans pay with blood and treasure. Venezuelans in the looting of sovereignty, livelihoods and oil-rich resources.
He lives by the sword and dies from the sword. It was when Washington chose to cover the blade and talk about domination. Or risk a decline that might not recover.
