Beirut – Israel has been tempting to abandon its Syrian identity since October 7, 2023, to serve the project of dismantling the fabric of Western Asia’s minority and accelerating Israelization projects.
This is done under the auspices of the spiritual leader of the occupied Palestine, Mwafak Tarif, particularly in the occupied Golan Heights, with an estimated population of around 42,000.
Approximately six months after the Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham regime seized control of Syria, Israeli intervention resurfaced. It attempts to portray itself as a guardian of Druze.
Since signing the unlucky Sykes Picot deal, Druze has actually paid a huge price. They thwarted the French mandate project to divide Syria into four provinces.
Before that, during the Ottoman occupation, the Syrian druzes, along with the occupied Palestinian druze, a front against systematic Israelisation plot, vehemently defended the unity of the Levant.
In the 1950s, despite the persecution of former President Adhib Shishakri, they refused to exploit Israel for their cause. Shishakli invaded Sweida with 10,000 soldiers, fired them with heavy weapons, killed dozens and destroyed the house.
When Israeli enemies occupied Golan Heights in 1967, Druze rejected “Israel identity” and formed a resistance group that rebelled against Israeli military control several times. However, their roles fell after the war was imposed on Syria.
Before 2011, President Hafez al-Assad and his son Bashar al-Assad managed to maintain the status of the Druze state agency. However, some officers of Sweida and Jaramana quickly fled in exile in the first year of the war imposed on the Bashar Al-Assad government.
Nevertheless, many Druze officers took part in repelling takfiri’s aggression.
In 2014, Druze was massacred in the town of Kalblose by HTS and forced to “convert to Islam.” Since then, the village of Druze has become a heaven for the families of Takfiri terrorists. So the Druzes could only resist, fearing the loss of their land!
After HTS ruled Syria in late 2024, Druze again found himself under the horrors of an ideologically motivated army driven by foreign terrorists who viewed Druze as a “non-Muslim Dimmy.”
Druze finds himself in a terrifying spiral again after the massacre on the Syrian coast and the events of Jaramana and Ashrafier Sanaya.
Deleuze once again found himself in a vortex of confusion and uncertainty about Syria’s future, particularly as Foreign Minister Assad al-Shaibani had not hesitated to divide Syrians and minorities from the UN podium into minorities. This was when Americans extracted an agreement to establish semi-liberty for the Kurds.
The de facto regime had not stopped sending messages to Israel to reassure that Syria was no longer poses a threat, normalizing relations and abandoning the entire height of Mount Harmon and Goran for free.
Meanwhile, if Israeli enemies claim to be dealing with Druze in “special treatments,” that is because they live in geographical strategic areas that Druze has long been trying to control.
Therefore, the recent air campaign, which started under the pretext of defending the Druze, was intended to win them, forcefully consolidate the divisions, and grab the land!
