Rafael Grossi, director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragci on the latest status of cooperation between Tehran and the agency.
During the call, the IAEA Director once again welcomed the ongoing indirect consultation between Iran and the United States.
He repeated preparations for the institutions to provide the necessary assistance in this process.
On his part, Araguchi emphasized the importance of the IAEA’s role in issues relating to Iran’s nuclear activities in accordance with the legal duties and duties of the agency.
He emphasized that Iran will continue to cooperate with the institutions in accordance with its legal and international obligations as a responsible member of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
Iran’s Foreign Minister hoped that the agency’s technical and professional approach would promptly resolve any remaining protection-related issues.
Araguchi also explained to Grossi about the latest developments in Iran and US talks.
