Tehran – Iran-Egypt relations have reached a turning point, and the two countries are currently engaged in fierce diplomacy despite their official reconciliation of diplomatic relations, Mohammad Hossein Soltanifer said he is outwardly in Iran’s office to protect Egyptian interests, which is outwardly in the Iranian office.
Soltanifar has announced the end of the mission in X. He has recently announced content about diplomatic engagements between the two countries. “At the end of a three-year mission marked by complex ups and downs, God’s grace breaks the ice of relations, and both countries are engaged in unlimited dialogue and consultations,” he added, “commonity and shared interests are more visible and important than ever before.
Two of the most influential people in West Asia, Iran and Egypt have been working hard since the collapse of the Shah in 1979 and the victory of the Islamic Revolution. Since then, reconciliation efforts have been sporadic. However, in recent years, both countries have expressed their passion for remarriage. High-level meetings, including meetings between Egyptian and Iranian presidents and foreign ministers, are now common, with heads of both countries travelling to each other’s homes multiple times. Tehran and Cairo have also worked together on local issues such as the war in Gaza.
“I am spreading my deep gratitude to the Egyptian government and officials, especially the people of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, friends and managers in the media, party leaders and public figures. I hope for a day full of peace and stability in the region,” he concluded with his X-Message.
