“If Muslims remain united, their enemies will not be able to suppress the Muslim state,” Pezeshkian told the chairman of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat in a telephone conversation Thursday.
Their conversation was for three consecutive weeks, with US airstrikes continuing across Yemen, killing and wounding Arab civilians.
Mashat stressed that the Islamic Republic in supporting Islamic unity is truly a source of pride, adding that the imperialist power cannot be suppressed and invaded as Islamic countries continue to unite with a focus on their commonality.
He said the ground situation in Yemen is completely different from what the enemy is trying to portray.
Mashat expressed confidence that Muslims do not have fundamental differences of opinion with one another and that they can achieve unity and ultimately overcome their enemies by focusing on shared values.
Yemenis has launched a devastating war with Gaza on October 7, 2023, and has been attacking Israeli and American targets in support of the Palestinians in Gaza in response to US-uk attacks in their homeland.
The operation effectively shuts down Eilat Port south of the occupying area, causing a major economic setback for the Israelis.
Yemeni forces say they will not stop attacking Israel’s ground and air attacks at the end of Gaza.
