The Al-Quds Brigade’s Jenin Brigade announced on Friday that it had detonated a Sigil-type guided explosive device in the Mutarn area, targeting the path of Israeli military reinforcements storming the town.
Meanwhile, the Al-Quds Brigade’s Nablus Brigade reportedly fired heavy direct fire at Israeli infantry near a besieged house as the fighters continued to confront occupation forces in the village of Tar, adapting their actions to local conditions.
Israeli special forces entered Tal and surrounded Walid Ishtiye’s home, followed by a raid with several jeeps and military vehicles. The operation killed 24-year-old police officer Younes Walid Mohammad Ishtiye, whose body was reportedly taken into custody by the Israeli military, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
Local media reported that Israeli forces fired live ammunition and sonic grenades around the besieged house, wounding Ishtiye and preventing Palestinian Red Crescent teams from accessing him. He was later pronounced dead.
In a related development, Israeli military vehicles raided several areas of Nablus, mainly in the Rafidiya neighborhood and Al-Akadadi Street, setting up temporary checkpoints before retreating.
At the same time, Israeli forces detained a young Palestinian man after surrounding his home near al-Falaa camp south of Tuba.
Kamal Bani Odeh of the Tubas Prisoners of War Club reported that 25-year-old Mahdi Ibrahim Mutlaq al-Aidi was abducted from his home in an attack by Israeli special forces supported by reinforcements from the Hamra military checkpoint.
