Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Saturday that Israel’s attack on Iran aimed to hamper negotiations just before a new round with the US, indicating that Israel does not want to resolve the issue through diplomacy.
At the meeting of foreign ministers of Islamic cooperation organisations in Istanbul, Erdogan urged countries that have no influence on Israel to listen to their “poison” and seek solutions to the battle through dialogue without allowing wider conflicts.
With the nine consecutive conflicts between Israel and Iran coming in, Turkish President Recept Tayyip Erdogan said in a fierce speech at a gathering of foreign ministers in Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul that he was “optimistic that the victory would be Iranian.”
Erdogan accused Israel of hampering nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States when it first launched its strike on Friday, June 13th – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “want to resolve the issue through diplomatic means.”
He urged diplomats at the OIC conference to increase pressure on Israel based on international law and UN resolutions.
