Tehran city’s cultural and artistic organizations have prepared many programs for “10 years of dignity”. A big stage has been set up in Vali-e-asr(as) Square, while at the same time an interesting and entertaining programme has been prepared for those who attended this epic gathering. Theatre, singing and competitive performances are other programs featured in epic celebrations.

One interesting scene that caught everyone’s attention was the announcement of Imamreza (AS)’s 1,000m long cake. This huge cake was the result of the non-stop effort and management of Astan-e Quds Razavi, and was prepared and distributed among the people.
Friday marks the birthday anniversary of Imam Reza (AS), the 8th Shia Imam of the sanctuary in Mashhad, northeastern Iran, living with the praises of angels and the joy of countless pilgrims.
As the city celebrates auspicious occasions, the streets leading to the sacred shrine are decorated with colorful lights and decorations, making the day even more special.
Often overwhelmed by devotion, pilgrims gather in shrine courtyards, engaged in prayer, songs of praise, celebration of the birth of the Imam.
The festival, held on the final day of the 10-day event “10 Years of Dignity” (Dahe-Ye Keramat), illuminated not only the city but also the hearts of its followers.
The area around the shrine is filled with vibrant flowers, flags and banners commemorating the event, creating a festive atmosphere.
In addition to spiritual celebrations, Imam Reza Shrine and its surrounding area are offering an increase in social services, including medical assistance with the addition of ambulances and emergency units, as well as charity projects aimed at supporting the poor.
The project includes construction initiatives in rural areas and efforts to provide hearing aids to students in particular who are in need.
An international literary event, “The Night of Poetry,” was also held, highlighting the beauty of the teachings of Imam Reza through poetry and fostering cultural connections among the pilgrims.
