TEHRAN – In an interview with Mojtaba Amani, Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, Jammu et Jammu examined the importance of Dr. Ali Laryani, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, travel to Iraq and Lebanon.
He said: The trip takes place in a situation where the area is in a very tense and sensitive security situation, with Zionists and the US designing dangerous plans. The trip itself was a significant success for Iranian diplomacy, especially as it happened when opponents of the Islamic Republic were trying to present isolated images of Iran. Hezbollah’s enemies, the Zionist regime, and the Americans were also pursuing policies that conveyed the illusion that Hezbollah had not won. They wanted to convey the idea that the movement had failed, failed to make a comeback and left the scene. Therefore, one of the symptoms that could have neutralized this fantasy was the presence of high-ranking Iranian officials in Lebanon as supporters of resistance. The positive developments and news during this trip had a major impact. The waves of public acceptance and positive news atmosphere have overcome all the efforts of the enemy.
Etemado: Trump Route and its solutions
Etemad commented on the Zangezur corridor (also known as the Trump route), writing: To confront negative geopolitical trends in order to maintain and strengthen its position in the regional transport network, Iran needs a comprehensive strategy that simultaneously encompasses economic and political aspects. The first step is to strengthen geopolitical positions through strategic partnerships with stakeholders from neighboring countries and regions. Iran must be able to become an actor by creating a network of political and economic cooperation that is costly and difficult to remove from geopolitical equations. The second step is to use economic diplomacy as a complement to foreign policy. The third step is to develop and update the transportation infrastructure. A combination of these three approaches can solidify Iran’s position in the global transit map. In this framework, Iran not only maintains its share in the transit market, but also uses communication routes as levers to enhance the political and security impacts of the region and beyond.
Arman-e-Melli: Consortium enrichment
In an interview with international relations expert Sabah Zangeneh, Arman-e-Melli discussed the issue of nuclear enrichment through a consortium. He said: Iran has a history of restricting the production of rich uranium, and this history makes it ready to limit production. Either way, there are many aspects to the issue of enrichment. One of these dimensions is the construction of equipment, storage, distribution, investment, research and development. All of these dimensions are negotiable when forming a consortium. Because this consortium has member states, it can solve many problems. It also provides good assurances to all member states of the consortium, and with the presence of several countries, the enrichment pathway never deviates (from a peaceful course). From this perspective, it should be said that Iran’s policy and negotiations in the nuclear field have been announced. Now it is not clear that other countries, including the US, are reactions to the proposal.
Ettelaat: Snapback mechanism results
Ettelaat asked for the views of international affairs analyst Hassan Beheshtipour on the snapback mechanism. He said: Europe has decided to activate the snapback mechanism and is raising this issue with loud media noise to force Iran to respond. However, this mechanism does not impose stricter or broader sanctions on a state’s perspective. Politically, however, the return of Security Council sanctions is harmful to Iran. This situation will be used against Iran within an international framework. In fact, nothing unusual happens when new sanctions are imposed. The main concern is that from a legal standpoint, resolutions issued against Iran have a disadvantage and have a major impact on both political and security dynamics. There is a legal aspect to UN sanctions, and their return could have legal consequences for Iran. This is important, but from an economic standpoint, it does not have a particular impact on the country’s economy, but it damages the country’s political image and is harmful to the country from a security standpoint.
