Prabowo said he had directed his foreign minister to quickly discuss Palestinians and other political parties with the Palestinians and other political parties and how to evacuate affected Palestinians to Indonesia, a Muslim majority country.
Approximately 400,000 Gaza residents have been expelled in weeks after Israel resumed military operations on its territory last month, according to the United Nations.
“We are ready to receive the injured victim,” Prabobo said before leaving the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Egypt, Qatar and Jordan for a visit to West Asia.
“We’re ready to send planes to transport them. We estimate that the number could be 1,000 in the first wave.”
He said injured Palestinians and “traumatized, orphaned children” will be prioritized.
He said he instructed the Foreign Minister to speak to Palestinian officials and “regional parties” about how to evacuate injured Gaza or orphans.
The victims were only in Indonesia until they recovered, and they were safe to return home.
Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim country, is consistently sought a solution for two states to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the report added.
