TEHRAN – The first study shows that “negligence” in observing “safety standards” is responsible for the huge Inferno on Saturday at Shahid Rajay port in southern Iran.
“Notice has been confirmed in observing safety standards and passive defense measures,” the committee explained.
“There have also been cases of false statements, and security and judicial authorities are actively working to identify responsible persons.”
However, the committee states, “A conclusive investigation into the cause of an incident requires a thorough review of all aspects, including the specific technical and experimental process, due to technical and expert considerations.”
Until Monday afternoon, 70 people confirmed that around 1,200 people had been injured in Inferno.
