This is the full text of Najah Muhammed Ali’s note on International Queds Day.
International Quds Day is not just one day dedicated to Jerusalem. It is the day when the oppressed stands against rog haughty, the day when the free state stands against tyrannical power. It is the day that warns all oppressive forces that Islam is no longer under their control and not submit to their evil rule. Because the Palestine issue is humanitarian and not a national issue with land called Palestine, it is humanitarian, so it is the day of the revival of Islam and a day that rekinds the values of Islam.
On August 7, 1979 (16 Moldads in the Persian calendar, 1358), just five months after the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Khomeini (Bless the soul of God. Muslims and all free people in the world wisely called out to the holy month of Ramadan, “Quds day sonlims of sulders of day sons and day sons and songing sond sond of day sons and “The rightful rights of the Palestinians.”
Imam Khomeini (May God gives him mercy) said of the day of quds:
“Quds Day is not just a day for Palestine. It is a day for Islam.Quds Day is not just for Jerusalem, it is a day that is global. It is a day when the oppressed stands up to rog haughtyness.”
Imam Khomeini’s visionary decision to establish the International Quds Day created an opportunity to introduce the unity and will of Islamic Umma along with other free states to resolve the Palestinian problem and eliminate the cancerous tumors of the Zionist regime. This strategic decision, after 31 years of intense rivalry and struggle, emphasized that the ideal of liberating Jerusalem is an undeniable historical need, and that it would form a bridge between the past, present and future of the Islamic world.
The Palestine occupation was the beginning of a grand plan aimed at instilling humiliation within the Islamic Umma. As a result, major Zionist projects aimed to undermine the abilities of Muslims. However, Palestinian resistance and certain Islamic countries’ stances have prevented the plan from becoming fully realized. The emergence of the Islamic revolution in Iran has struck Zionists and their supporters in panic. Shortly afterwards, Islamic resistance in Palestine and southern Lebanon emerged, injecting fresh blood into the veins of the Islamic world, informing them that they had returned to their rightful positions of the Ummah. The free Yemenis then entered the battlefield with an incredible stance that changed many of the parameters of the struggle.
On the occasion of Quds Day, Ayatollah, leader of the Islamic Revolution, Seyyed Ali Khamenei, saying:
“Quds Day is, in the true sense, Islam and global day. It is, fortunately, today, alongside the Iranian states, alongside other ambitious countries, the day that rog haughty powers can cry out the truthful words that sought for oppression.”
For decades, they have tried to erase the problems of Palestinians from the conscience of the world. For over 77 years, they tried to wipe Palestine off the world map. With this, they found some success. However, the Islamic Revolution struck them violently. The establishment of the Islamic Republic, the declaration of the Quds Day, and the transformation of the embassy of the government of seizing the Palestinian embassy in Tehran served as warning bells of the global power that played a role in creating Zionist entities.
Fortunately, this move towards QUD and the liberation of Palestine is getting stronger every day. However, the day of Quds must be considered a day of unity and convergence for the Islamic Umma. This is seen as a day to stand up to the rog-harmed and expansionist efforts of the Zionist regime.
Unfortunately, in recent years, some of the global arrogance and Zionist plots to erase the Palestinian cause have been realized, aided by the ignorance and betrayal of some reactionary Arab rulers.
In this reality, it is important to emphasize that certain Arab leaders are actively working to fill the Palestinian cause and support projects aimed at fully liquidating it.
Instead of alleviating the suffering of the Zionist regime and the US-Palestinian people, Ummah’s main enemies, these Arab rulers played a role in restraining resistance fighters, tearing their own countries apart, and promoting destruction in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Afghanistan and other Islamic countries.
Regarding these efforts to erase Palestine from global consciousness, Ayatollah Khamenei said:
“For many years, they have been trying to make us forget about the issue of Quds. But the day of Quds is an arrow to the heart of this plot. It is a step towards thwarting this heinous plot, Zionism, and this heinous plot that their accomplices and collaborators have combined to erase them entirely from memory.”
But on the day of Quds, when truth resonates despite the conspiratorial silence, the people of Iran take millions of people on the streets, their voices roaring with confidence, their hearts beating with resolution, and that Jerusalem is not just a city.
From Tehran to Mashhad, from Isfahan to Ahvaz, Palestinian flags were raised high, embraced the flag of resistance, and painted pictures of Ummah’s rebellion against the Zionist project, who only knew the language of invasion.
In Iran’s capital, hundreds of thousands of people poured into the streets from multiple directions, each carrying a story of struggle, with each flag flapping wings in honor of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Palestine. The destination is Tehran University, where hundreds of thousands gather, their faces glowing with faith. Before the Friday sermon began, Zainab Nasrara, Saeed Hassan Nasrara, daughter of a living martian in Umma’s conscience, sparked her heart with her words.
Certainly, in more than 900 Iranian cities, the scene was the same. The chant that shakes the ground beneath the Zionist’s feet screams that occupation is a crime, and that the state will never forget the martyrs of Gaza, and will not allow innocent bloodshed without accountability. These marches were more than just demonstrations. They had a clear message: Jerusalem was not for sale and never would.
The day of Quds is the day when history is written in ink of dignity, and the day when freedom declares that Palestine will remain despite all the plot and betrayal. Zionist occupation, no matter how deeply it sets itself, is destined to collapse.
And that is why the International Quds Day is the philosophy of Palestine existence and a way to keep that cause alive until God’s promise is fulfilled.
