Tehran – The second edition of the International Specialized Exhibition of Gemstones, Machinery and Related Equipment is currently underway at the Tehran International Permanent Fairgrounds, with participation from domestic and foreign activists in the gemstone industry.
He noted that the event will begin on August 28th and run until August 31st, the IRNA reported.
Ojani said the exhibition is not only a basis for displaying the capabilities of Iranian artisans, but it is also an opportunity to promote exports and increase global cooperation in the jewellery industry.
The event also includes side programs such as professional meetings, exchange of knowledge and experience between experts, and presenting the latest scientific and technical achievements, he added.
He pointed out that the province’s handicrafts and traditional arts department hosts 20 artisans from Tehran, East Azarbaijan and Khorasan Razabi provinces who were provided with free space as part of their special assistance.
He continued to be a strategic opportunity to strengthen economic diplomacy, develop exports and expand international cooperation in the jewellery industry.
Among the prominent names and institutions present at this event are the Iranian Mines and Mineral Industry Development and Renovation Organization (Imidro), the Mineral Application Research Center in Western Iran, the Iranian Mineral Processing Research Center, Tehran Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Division, Tehran Gold, Jewelry Sellers, Jewelry Distributors, Gate Meckers Manufacturer (Shell) precious metal export and processing terminals, and reputable galleries and companies in this field.
The field of participants’ activities covers a wide range of fields, from all kinds of gems and gems to rough stones, synthetic gems, machines, tools, processing equipment, specialized laboratories, knowledge-based companies, scientific and research institutes, manufacturers of security equipment and safety boxes, specialized service providers, and scientific and specialized publications.
The event is being held with representatives from the provinces of Khorasan Razavi, Kerman, Yazd, Alborz, East Azarbaijan, North Khorasan, Golestan, Qazvin, South Khorasan, Isfahan and Markazi. A broad presence that reflects the diversity of national capabilities in the gem field.
