Tehran – Hamas’ armed wings issue harsh warnings to the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Gaza.
Hamas Armed Wing spokesman Abu Ubaida, Al-Khasam Brigade, said the losses maintained by Khan Eunice and Jabaria’s IOF represent a model of ongoing special operations of resistance.
In a post on Telegram’s social media platform, Abu Ubaida said:
He emphasized that resistance fighters continue to show victory for their oppressed loyal people against their cruel and haughty enemies.
He added, “The fighter, the heir to the Prophet, fires David’s stones with Gideon’s tanks, shocking the rog haughty of Israel’s occupation.”
“Gideon’s Tank” is the codename used when the Israeli regime resumed the war on Gaza.
Abu Ubaida warned that the Israeli masses had only two options. “Prepare to pressure their leadership to stop the war of genocide or to co-accept more children.”
Israeli media reported that Hamas was well prepared for current ground invasions, studying IOF procedures and began anticipating booby closed buildings.
Israeli forces have confirmed the deaths of four soldiers, including members of the Elite Maglan Unit and the Yaharom Engineering Unit, in a fatal ambush carried out by Palestinian resistance inside a booby building in Khan Eunice, southern Gaza.
According to Israeli Army Radio, the Maglan unit entered the Khan Eunice building, accompanied by Yaharom’s engineering team. Five minutes after they entered, the explosive device exploded and the building collapsed on top of the soldiers.
According to the IOF, the explosion and subsequent collapse killed four soldiers and five other soldiers seriously injured.
Initial investigations revealed that retrieving the body from underneath the tiled rub took almost six hours in the fire of Israeli cannons and the air cover provided by fighters.
Previous reports from Israeli media have shown that five soldiers have been killed and at least dozens have been injured in a similar explosion at Khan Eunice.
Israeli media pointed out that this week was the IOF’s most deadly since December, killing eight soldiers in just three days.
Another complex ambush in the northern region of Jabaria led to further casualties among the IOF.
On Saturday, Hebrew media reported that IOF members were injured in a mortar shell attack in Shejaiya, northern Gaza.
Meanwhile, as the Palestinian resistance continues to work across various aspects, a fierce battle is underway in Khan Eunice, along with intense Israeli artillery fires and intermittent clashes in Jabaria and other parts of Gaza.
In line with Eid’s first day, Palestinian resistance escalated the operation. The armed wings of Islamic Jihad, the Al-Quds brigade, have announced a joint mortar attack with the Al-Qassam brigade, targeting Israeli command and control centres southeast of Khan Younis.
The Al-Quds brigade also confirmed that the fighter had detonated a powerful pre-planted barrel bomb against an IOF military vehicle near the town of Khuza’a in Khan Younis.
Another similar device was used to destroy Israeli vehicles on the streets of the town of Al-Calala, north of Khan Eunice.
The group also released footage showing fighters ambushing the IOF in Beitrahea, northern Gaza, using powerful explosive devices in an ambush that was carried out accurately.
