Addressing a group of cadets at Tehran’s Imam Ali Officers’ College on Friday, the commander said war happens where you are unprepared. Therefore, as long as the Iranian military maintains a high level of readiness in training, equipment, and morale, the enemy will never have the ability to threaten or attack, and in the event of a conflict, victory will belong to a ready and loyal force.
He further elaborated on the main missions of the Iranian Armed Forces, summarizing them into three main principles: maintaining territorial integrity, protecting independence, and defending the sacred regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
These fundamental principles guide all activities, training and programs at all levels within the Army, and all dedicated officers must prioritize these principles in their missions, the commander emphasized.
Maj. Gen. Sayari added that the Iranian Army is continuously strengthening its capabilities in three key areas: training, equipment, and morale.
He stressed that improving military education to deal with modern threats, modernizing and updating equipment, and maintaining and increasing the spiritual and faith-based revolutionary morale of the armed forces are important to ensure the strength and deterrence of the Army.
