“In contrast, Afghanistan’s exports to Iran amounted to $54 million in 2024, representing an increase of $29 million compared to 2023 and reflecting an increase in value of approximately 116%.” he explained.
According to official statistics from the Customs Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Afghanistan is currently the fifth largest export destination from Iran.
