In a telephone conversation on Sunday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi and Taliban representative Amir Khan Muttaki discussed the most important bilateral and regional issues.
Top Iranian diplomats emphasized the need to hold a ministerial meeting of Islamic Cooperation Organizations (OICs) to consider plans to resolve the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
Araguchi also highlighted Iran’s efforts to open up a way to gradually pay tribute to the path to deportation of Afghan refugees by observing their rights.
On his part, Muttaki pointed to the serious situation in Gaza and called on the Islamic state to respond responsibly to the crisis.
Afghan officials also stressed the misery of the Palestinians and the need to quickly end the massacre crimes in the Gaza Strip.
He further urged that Afghan people should express concern about the process of returning to their country and respect their dignity.
