At a meeting on Saturday, the two diplomats explored ways to expand bilateral cooperation between the two countries, highlighting the need to expand cooperation in all regions.
The Iranian foreign minister emphasized that the Islamic world should address the threats and challenges, particularly regarding occupied Palestine, and stop the Zionist regime’s war of genocide against innocent Palestinians.
Araguchi also informed his Saudi counterparts of the latest developments related to indirect Iranian consultations.
On Saturday morning, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araguchi set out for Jeddah and led a diplomatic delegation to meet with senior Saudi officials to discuss bilateral issues and regional and international developments.
The Foreign Minister will also travel to Doha on Saturday afternoon to attend the Iranian-Arab World Dialogue Conference.
