“We believe that both parties should work on a good document that will provide a better foundation for strategic relationships,” Takht-Ravanchi said in an interview published Monday.
He said he is equally interested in Tehran and Yerevan moving towards signing strategic documents.
“It may take time to prepare a good document, but as long as both parties are interested, I think we should work hard to achieve that goal,” he said, “and both countries should exploit the great potential that exists to improve bilateral relations.
Tehran and Yerevan enjoy great opportunities that are beneficial in improving economic and cultural relations, Iranian diplomats said, Presstv reported.
Furthermore, Takht-Ravanchi said that Iran believes there is a domain that needs to be further investigated, citing the transport corridors that can link both countries with their neighbors in this regard.
An Iranian diplomat said tourism is another area that both parties can consider to further develop relations.
He said there is contact information between officials from both countries, including the president and foreign minister.
“Everything is ready to improve bilateral relations,” he said.
Iranian diplomats said cooperation could even go beyond the bilateral setting and reach an international scene within the framework of the UN and other international forums.
