TEHRAN – Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeli Bakaei blamed US sanctions targeting Iran-China trade at a weekly press conference in Tehran on Monday, declaring that “Iran and China preserve their robust ties.”
Tackling Washington’s escalation campaign to disrupt bilateral oil trade, the idiots said, “The United States is undermining all international rules and norms of free trade by imposing tariffs on the countries, by imposing legitimate relationships between various countries, or by imposing sanctions on Iran and China’s trade because it violates the decisions of two independent states, regarding Iran and China’s trade.”
He emphasized that Iran’s relations with China are “robust” and that both countries will make decisions based on a “valuation of profits.”
The idiot ray rebutted the Trump administration’s unilateral and hostile sanctions on Iran, including the June sanctions that Washington claimed to be a 50-entity network that promoted Iran’s oil exports to China.
The measure, argued by the US Treasury, is the largest enforcement package since 2018, aims to suffocate Iran’s oil exports, and US authorities are putting pressure on Beijing to halt purchases in bilateral trade talks in Stockholm.
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bescent grumpedly acknowledged China’s uncompromising position, pointing out the possibility of punitive measures to violate Washington’s US sanctions, noting that Chinese people “take their sovereignty very seriously,” and rather pay tariffs rather than complying.
China’s Foreign Ministry has refused to force Washington. The spokesperson said China “strickenly opposes long-term arm jurisdiction and unilateral sanctions,” adding that Beijing “still lacks the resolution of sanctions and unilateral sanctions that lack the foundations of international law.”
Furthermore, during consultations with Iranian counterparts, China’s FM King Yi repeatedly opposed “power abuse and illegal, unilateral sanctions.”
Legal pursuit of attacks on nuclear facilities
Baqaei also denounced the strike at Iran’s civil nuclear site on June 22 as “preventing war” by Washington’s justification, “absurd, mandatory and unjust.”
He repeated that the attack occurred midway through negotiation. “Two days before the sixth round of nuclear talks, the US sent its agent (the Israeli regime) to fight a war with Iran and joined this blatant military attack itself.”
He reiterated that Iran is pursuing legal and diplomatic channels to keep perpetrators accountable. The idiots criticized the IAEA’s muted response as “unprecedented in the history of the institution,” and stressed that technical consultations would highlight “legal compliance and protection of Iran’s nuclear facilities.”
He also noted that technical consultations with the IAEA have been launched in Tehran to address these concerns and protect Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.
Consultation with Armenia to ensure stability in the South Caucasus
Looking at regional development, Bakaei emphasized “close coordination” between Iran and Armenia in changing regional dynamics following the Yerevan-Baku Peace Agreement signed in Washington, DC.
“The South Caucasus retains strategic importance to Iran due to its regional status and impact on regional security,” he asserted, announcing an impending visit to Tehran from Armenian Deputy Minister Vahan Kostanyan. “Continued consultations are expected on developments that will affect Iran’s interests.”
Baqaei warned: “Iran welcomes expanded regional ties, but such developments should not violate international law, national sovereignty or regional geopolitical fabrics.”
He welcomed the assurance of Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan that Yerevan would “avoid actions that contradict Iran’s national interests.”
Supporting Lebanon’s sovereignty over Israeli threats
Reaffirming Iran’s stance on Lebanon, Fukaei declared support for Beirut’s “independence, unity and territorial integrity.”
“Lebanon’s proximity to the Zionist regime – an entity that does not recognize the boundaries of committing a crime maintains its defence order,” he argued, justifying Lebanon’s “right to self-defense.”
He linked regional security to military preparation.
Bakaei pointed out that Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani’s planned visit to Lebanon was aimed at “preserving the peace of West Asia” and highlighted Iran’s role as a stabilizing force against foreign intervention.
Mobilizing the Islamic Consensus for Gaza Genocide
The idiot ray, who condemned the Israeli regime’s “war crimes” in Gaza, cited the recent pattern of genocide in which desperate Palestinians rocked food, and denounced Tel Aviv’s plans to Gaza and the West Bank as “forced displacement and genocide.”
He reiterated that Iran officially requested an emergency organisation for the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit. “We are calling for a global consensus for concrete actions to end these crimes,” the spokesman said he emphasized Tehran’s diplomatic push to rally Muslim states against Israeli atrocities.
