Ahmadian and Aladji met on Tuesday on the bystanders of the 13th International Conference of Representatives in Moscow.
At the meeting, the top security officials emphasized the full implementation of the security agreement signed in Baghdad in 2023 with the aim of ensuring security at shared borders, particularly in the Kurdistan region.
The Ahmadian also referred to the development of the region, calling it a need to be vigilant against Zionist regime conspiracy aimed at sowing sector among the nation, underscoring the need to halt occupying territories and the need to stop crime.
“Unification of Islamic countries against Zionist crime can increase the costs of criminals,” he added.
“Iran is our strategic partner and the two countries are moving forward with general issues based on mutual understanding,” the Iraq national security adviser told the meeting.
Aladji also emphasized that “the Islamic world should not remain silent in the face of Zionist crimes, but must unite to prevent the oppression and continued oppression of the Gaza people.”
The Ahmadian arrived in Moscow on Tuesday, and Sergei Shog, the official invitation of the Secretary of the Russian Federation’s Security Council, attended the 13th International Security Representatives Conference, which will be held from May 27th to 29th, 2025.
