The commemorative postal stamps between Iran and Oman were announced at a ceremony attended by foreign ministers of both countries.
During President Masuud Pezeshkian’s visit to Muscat, the ceremony took place at Al-Alam Palace on Tuesday, where Foreign Minister Oman bin Hamad Al-Busaidi and his Iranian counterpart Abbas Arakich jointly announced a stamp respecting bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The stamp represents the deep cultural and historical ties between Oman and Iran, as well as a shared commitment to good neighbours, cooperation, constructive engagement and cultural exchange.
Speaking at the event, Oman’s head Said Nasr bin Badr Albusadi said the stamp represents a lasting cultural and historical ties between the Sultan of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
This stamp features iconic architectural and cultural emblems from both Iran and Oman.
