Tehran -Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbass Araguchi and Pakistan, Deputy Minister Amina Baroquoquock, met on Monday and discussed the connection between the two countries and the development of the region.
The conference was held in Tehran as a bystander of the high -level committee meeting of the Deputy Minister of Economic Cooperation (ECO).
“Under President Penzkian’s leadership, we are aiming to improve our relationship with Pakistan. We recognize its important roles in foreign policy,” Araguchi said.
He further emphasized the importance of sustainable dialogue and interaction at the highest level to take advantage of the shared opportunities while working on common issues.
Baroque has emphasized issues such as border security, drug trafficking, and illegal immigration, reflecting mutual interest and concerns.
“Pakistan is working to promote the relationship with Iran. We are aiming for more robust cooperation in both two countries and regions to manage these shared issues.” She explained.
The conference also provided opportunities to discuss regional development, including Afghanistan, Gaza, Syria, and Lebanon.
Iran and Pakistan have maintained historical bonds. They share deep cultural and historical connections and support each other on a daily basis in international forums. Recent development has further strengthened this close partnership.
