During a telephone conversation on Wednesday, President Pezeshkian congratulated the Qatar government and its people on the occasion of Eid al-Ada, the Islamic sacrifice festival.
The Iranian president emphasized the importance of this important Islamic holiday as a symbol of unity, solidarity and unity within the Islamic community.
Pezeshkian called for increased political and diplomatic cooperation between Islamic countries, expressing hope that increased unity among Muslim countries could put pressure on the Zionist regime to halt the continued oppression of Gaza residents and pave the way for regional tranquility and stability.
In response, Qatar Emil praised the Iranian president’s call and expanded his congratulations to the Iranian government and people.
He acknowledged the dire circumstances facing the people of Gaza and noted that Islamic Ummah is experiencing challenging times. However, he expressed his hope that cooperation between Iran, Qatar and other Islamic countries could prevent Muslims from genocide carried out by the Zionist regime.
Emir also expressed optimism that the continued direct interaction between Iranian and Qatari officials will lead to deeper bilateral relations and realising shared goals and benefits.
