Abbas Araguchi, Foreign Minister of Islamic Republic of Iran, traveled to Doha to attend the fourth Iranian-Arab World Dialogue Summit, and held a meeting on Saturday evening with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Arni.
During the meeting, the two discussed bilateral relations and ways to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
They also reviewed the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, following two years of genocide actions due to the Zionist regime and the continued lockdown of Tel Aviv, and the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, particularly in the wake of the ongoing lockdowns that hindered the delivery of food and medical aid to the besieged areas. Both pastors highlighted the urgent need for greater regional cooperation to alleviate the suffering of oppressed Palestinians.
Araguchi also described Qatari’s counterparts for the latest developments in indirect negotiations between Iran and the US.
