In a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mohammad Atabak emphasized the acceleration of the implementation of the agreement engraved between the two countries.
Atabak praised Russia’s responsible position in defending Iran’s intransitable rights in Iran’s international organizations, saying Iran and Russia’s relations always play a crucial role in regional politics and economics.
Iran’s presence as an EAEU observer member is growing, and Atabak emphasizes that friendly and like-minded countries can come together to create economic and commercial hubs.
Iran is ready to strengthen its strategic cooperation with the Russian Federation, he said, “Given the political will of both countries, it is entirely possible to increase the volume of trade exchange over and over again given the interstate relationship, vast economic capabilities and the expansion and development of the history of long-standing trade relations.”
Iranian businessmen and the private sector are ready to expand trade ties with Russia, the industry minister said.
