Taliban Minister of Industry and Commerce Noordin Azitzi met with Iranian Minister of Industry and Industry and with the exception of Mohammad Atabak, it has now reached $10 billion next year on the development of economic relations and the increase in bilateral trade between the two countries.
During the meeting, the two parties signed trade agreements, removed barriers to transportation and investment, and discussed the resolution of the quarantine and port issues, particularly at Iran’s port of Chabahar.
According to the Taliban Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Iranian delegations have pledged to take practical steps to improve services and expand trade. Ajitsi also emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety of the project and strengthening economic cooperation.
At the end of the meeting it was agreed to expand cooperation in the fields of trade, transportation and investment in order to achieve the $10 billion target in annual trade between the two countries.
