Speaking to local Iranian media on Tuesday, Iranian Minister of Political Affairs and Foreign Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi, a member of the Iranian negotiation team, refused to cooperate with the state through Oman and consult with the US via media that Natéssion and Iran’s nuclear programme were not using Impasse and that he had not said he would hire Ian Negi. The ups and downs of those lectures. ”
He said, “We are preparing a response that has not yet been confirmed. We have a good job done about it and we believe that the response we provide is reasonable. It will be completed in the next few days and will be handed over to Oman’s Foreign Minister and communicated to the Americans.”
Regarding details of Iran’s proposal, he added: “Our proposals are certainly not one sentence or one paragraph text that can be easily dismissed. They include elements that demonstrate our severity, and demonstrate that our position has a defined framework and works on established principles.”
He emphasized that every proposal has a logical beginning and ending, ensuring that different sections are not inconsistent with one another.
Takht-e-Ravanchi emphasized that the prepared text, although not yet confirmed, serves as a reliable basis for further discussion. “I believe there is room for progress if there is political will on the other side. Naturally, in international negotiations, the text submitted is merely a starting point and deeper discussions must continue.
The Deputy Minister said, “The reality is that we are not discussing excessively long texts at this stage, as we do not intend to present comprehensive and time-consuming agreements or understandings. The proposed proposal can begin a more detailed negotiation on a particular issue if there is a mutual understanding of this framework.”
He said that if the framework is agreed, it could lead to mutually satisfying outcomes.
Takht-e-Ravanchi further emphasized that Tehran’s proposed text could leave the diplomatic window open to continue the current process to reach a final agreement.
The US and Iran have been holding five rounds of nuclear talks starting April 12th, and are expected to meet again for negotiations aimed at reaching a new agreement. The two countries are at odds at the level of uranium enrichment.
