South Asia Director Mohammad Reza Bahrami of Iran’s Foreign Ministry met with Exilli Pintalci, the Secretary of the Foreign Ministry, to discuss ways to strengthen Thailand.
The consultations held on the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries focused on expanding political, economic and cultural cooperation.
Both sides emphasized the importance of increasing political consultations, strengthening bilateral cooperation and implementing joint programs.
During the meeting, Thai diplomats expressed gratitude for Iran’s efforts to secure the release of Thai prisoners in Gaza, and expressed her country’s political will to increase cooperation with Iran in various sectors. I emphasized it.
The major agreements reached during consultations include the exchange of high-level delegations, the establishment of joint economic committees, and the continuation of expert-level consultations in science and technology.
Both sides had planned to implement cultural programs and hold joint consul meetings in the coming months.
Both sides also highlighted the importance of multilateralism in addressing global challenges and agreed to work closer in international fields.
