Tehran Inn was engaged in discussions aimed at expanding cultural and library cooperation between the two countries at Iran’s Turkish Ambassador, Hikabi Kurlanlan Island, at a meeting held at the Magillis Library, Museum and Documentation Centre on Sunday. I did.
The meeting attended by Masoud Moienipour, head of Iran’s Library of Congress, was part of an ongoing effort to explore the path of a collaborative initiative.

The proposed discussion included book exchanges, manuscript recovery, work digitization, and organisation of joint training courses. Additionally, Moienipour presented the ambassador with a collection of books and materials related to Turkey, further highlighting goodwill between the two countries.
Moienipour highlighted the importance of cultural cooperation between Iran and Turkey, introduced the library’s rich resources and the need for greater academic exchanges and library cooperation.
He suggested that within the framework of the Joint Culture Year between Iran and Turkey, special programs such as joint exhibitions, exchanges of historical documents, and collaborations on manuscript restoration will be organized. Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of collaborative research in the field of Iranian research and the Ottoman research, and welcomed the prospect of increasing scientific and cultural interactions.
At the end of the meeting, the Turkish ambassador toured various sections of the Centre, further strengthening his commitment to strengthening cultural connections and collaboration between the two countries.
