Saeed Katibzadeh, deputy foreign minister of Islamic Republic of Iran, met with nuh yilmaz, deputy foreign minister of the Turkish Republic in Ankara on Thursday.
Both sides reviewed bilateral relations, regional issues and the latest developments in the Islamic world, highlighting the importance of expanding cooperation between Iran and Turkey.
They also highlighted the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the continued Israeli aggression, particularly the urgent need to support the Palestinian people in Gaza and strengthen international efforts to stop the attacks and lift the lockdown.
Katibzadeh thanked the Turkish government and people for condemning Israeli invasion of Iran.
Irmaz expressed Ankara’s interest in deepening ties with Tehran and expressed his readiness to expand cooperation in a variety of areas, including support for the Palestinians.
