On Monday, Foreign Minister Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan held a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of Iran Seyd Abbas Aragut, according to a reading from the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Minister Mirzoyan touched on the results of the meeting held in Washington on August 8th. This includes agreements reached and further activities regarding the unblocking and development of local communications.
Arrat Mirzoyan previously stated on several occasions by Armenia and emphasized that, as reflected in the Washington Declaration, the operation of infrastructure, including those built in Armenia, along with a partnership with the US, will take place within the framework of territorial integrity, sovereignty and the respective state hearings.
In this regard, Minister Mirzoyan expressed his gratitude for seizing Abbas Aragut for his principled stance expressed in the Washington Agreement.
The contestants exchanged opinions on future consultations between Armenia and Iran and preparation for high levels of contact.
