“With God’s help, we will always attack targets belonging to the invading Zionist regime. There are no restrictions before us,” military authorities said Thursday.
Musabi made his remarks as he visited one of the aerospace bases of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iran.
He praised the base’s troops for their high morale and full preparation.
He also welcomed the IRGC’s aerospace forces for shattering and accurate attacks that have been carried out on Israeli targets over the past few days in response to the regime’s attacks on Iran.
On Wednesday night, the IRGC said in a statement that the military had launched a new type of powerful missile targeted by Israel. The missiles are the Sejjil type, a two-stage, long-range, extremely heavy, powerful weapon.
Israel attacked Iran, including Tehran’s residential buildings, in an unattacked act on June 13th, overnight. Top Iranian military officials were assassinated on a targeted strike, while civilians lost their lives when their homes were hit directly.
Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Revolution, appointed a new military commander that same day, saying life would be dark for Israel. Shortly afterwards, Iranian forces launched a punitive strike within the territory of Israeli-occupied territories, attacking Tel Aviv and Haifa with missile and drone salboats, among other targets. On Tuesday, Major General Musabi said the troops will soon switch from deterrent to punitive strikes.
