According to Mehr News Agency, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has launched a military exercise named after martyr Mehdi Rabbani with the aim of strengthening internal security and increasing the readiness of Basij forces in Western Azarbaijan province.
The training began under the direction of Brigadier General Taghi Najmi, deputy commander of the West Azarbaijan Revolutionary Guards. The exercise will be held over two days, December 4th and 5th, and will be carried out in all districts of West Azarbaijan.
Brigadier General Najmi stressed that the objectives of the exercise include maintaining national unity, internal stability and security, as well as boosting the morale and readiness of Iran’s paramilitary Basij forces.
The nationwide scope of the exercise underscores Iran’s commitment to strengthening its domestic defense capabilities and rapid operational readiness.
