In a statement, the Embassy of the Republic of Iran in the Netherlands strongly rejected the claims included in the Dutch National Security Agency’s annual report, calling for Iran’s involvement in the European unfounded assassination operation.
The statement states that a copy has been provided to the London IRNA office and that Iran itself is the biggest victim of terrorism and has a stronger will to fight terrorism in all forms than any other country.
A few hours ago, the Dutch intelligence agency issued a report allegedly accusing Iran of being involved in two assassination attempts in Europe.
The organization alleged in its annual report that two people were arrested in June 2024 for attempting to assassinate a Dutch Iranian resident.
Following this false claim, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran was summoned to the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A statement from the Iranian embassy stated that “the unfounded allegations filed are mere attempts to portray some individuals as oppressed and gain political status or privilege from the host government.”
The statement added, “Unfortunately, many individuals and organizations who have committed terrorist acts in Iran, who have confessed or are proud of, are operating in Europe under the support of the Western government, and are the source of many such allegations.”
