Esmail Baghaei, a spokesman for Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, responded to Western media reports on the latest situation in US-Iran negotiations by determining the time and location of the round of the next speech. Once completed, the Omani Sultan will announce the details.
Baghaei reiterated that, as mentioned earlier, the only subject discussed between Iran and the US was the lifting of nuclear issues and sanctions, while other issues were not on the agenda.
Emphasizing the prioritization of ending “unfair sanctions,” Baghey argued that Iranian negotiating teams would not spare any efforts to remove US sanctions. He said it will measure the severity of the United States based on its actions in lifting sanctions.
He firmly rejects speculation about Iran’s supposed flexibility in uranium enrichment, calling it a fundamental and inseparable part of the country’s nuclear industry. He said that proposals that contradict this principle or undermine this right are unacceptable.
Regarding reports on potential dimensions of a potential agreement, Baguey said such claims cannot be confirmed as they are purely media speculation and are often released with a variety of motivations.
