The Islamic Republic of Iran’s Foreign Ministry condemned the U.S. Department’s statement on the anniversary of the September 2022 riots in Iran, explaining it with hypocrisy, deceit, and intolerance as an explicit example of hostile and criminal interference in Iran’s internal affairs.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry emphasized that rational and patriotic Iranians do not believe in the claims of friendship and sympathy by the regime, which has a long record of committing various crimes against Iranians, from the shameful coup of August 19, 1953 to the conspiracy with Saddam to the imposed war-era wartime conspiracy with Saddam to the use of chemical weapons against Iranians. From the collapse of an Iranian passenger plane in 1988 to the imposing cruel sanctions. And from the cooperation with the Zionist regime in attacks on nuclear facilities and assassination of scientists, to the murder of Iranian women, children and security forces during a criminal attack last June.
The department added that as the largest supporter of the occupation and genocide Zionist regime, which slaughtered more than 65,000 innocent people, primarily women and children in less than two years, the US has no legitimate comment on the rich concept of human rights as a government where racism and racism are part of a political and governing culture.
The Islamic Republic’s Foreign Ministry emphasized that Iranian vigilance and insightful people will judge human rights claims of American politicians in light of hypocritical and criminal conduct around the world, particularly in West Asia. “They will never forget or forgive the savage crimes, illegal interventions and ongoing hostility of the US control design against our country.”
