In a telephone conversation with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fawad Hussein on Monday, Abbas Aragci said the Israeli regime’s violations were taking place in the US green light.
He called for immediate action by the international community, particularly the regional and Islamic countries, to stop Israel’s crimes and aggression and prevent further uncertainty across the region.
He also touched on the serious threat posed by airspace for abuse of US bases in regional countries and attacks on local countries.
Araghchi said all countries in the region should take necessary measures to prevent the use of their territory by foreign troops to destabilize other countries and take the necessary measures to protect the sovereignty of the state.
He urged friendly neighbors to beware of the US’s excited agitation.
Referring to illegal US sanctions against Iran’s oil industry, Aragut said the allegations and accusations made by US officials to put pressure on Iran were neither grounded nor credible.
On his part, the Iraqi Foreign Minister also expressed deep concern about the development of the region and the serious dangers that arise from the ongoing attacks on Gaza, Lebanon and Syria.
He also emphasized the need for consensus and cooperation between regional countries to alleviate the suffering of the oppressed Palestinian people and prevent the peace and stability of the entire region from being at stake.
On another call with Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, Araguc said what is happening in Turkey is an internal problem.
He expressed confidence that the national authorities could manage ongoing developments in line with the interests of the Turkish state.
In January, the Israeli regime was forced to agree to a ceasefire agreement with Hamas given the regime’s failure to achieve its objectives, such as “exclusion” of Palestinian resistance and the release of prisoners of war.
The 42-day phase of the ceasefire, which was damaged by repeated Israeli violations, expired on March 1, but Israel is refraining from stepping into the second phase of the agreement’s meeting.
Additionally, the administration began a strike in Gaza from Tuesday, breaking a ceasefire and a prisoner captive exchange agreement that lasted almost two months.
The Israeli regime also agreed to a ceasefire with the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah on November 27, as it failed to achieve its military and political objectives, including the severe losses in the nearly 14 months of conflict with Lebanon and the elimination of Hezbollah.
In addition to breaking the terms of the ceasefire agreement and maintaining a portion of Lebanese troops, the regime has been carrying out almost a day’s attacks in Lebanon since the agreement began.
