Esmaille Baghihai, a spokesman for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, described the US attack as a clear act of aggression and a serious violation of the UN Charter and the fundamental principles of international law.
Senior Iranian diplomats said these US attacks were carried out in full support of Zionist regime occupation and genocide on occupied Palestinian territory, and became partners in Israel’s crime.
“The continued invasion of US military against Yemen, the destruction of its critical infrastructure and the killing of the Muslim population will not only burn the Zionist regime to continue crimes in Gaza and the West Bank, but fuel local instability and pose a serious threat to international peace and security.”
Advising the Yemeni people and the Yemeni government to lose innocent lives, Baguei reaffirmed Iran’s solidarity with Yemeni resilient people. He called for the end of global silence and inaction in the face of blatant violations of international law and human rights against Yemen’s population.
He also highlighted the responsibility and the Islamic Cooperative Organizations (OICs) to act decisively in this regard.
