He spoke at a meeting with the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mining and Agriculture (ICCIMA) on Monday.
The president emphasized that, as the leaders of the Islamic Revolution previously stated, the recent victory in the face of a Zionist regime belongs to all 90 million Iranians, not to a particular faction or group.
Emphasizing the importance of social capital as a key asset in the Islamic Republic, the president noted that one of the issues he firmly believes in is social capital. Recently, this valuable asset appeared in an unprecedented way, and he maintained that without this general support the country would have faced a serious crisis.
The President saw it as the key to the country’s success in overcoming the crisis, a synergistic effect of Iranian society, and an effective connection between people and government. He further stated that his administration is fully committed to empowering people and engaging them in the management of the country’s problems.
Pezeschkian also said he believes the enemy will encourage people to protest through military attacks. However, this wise and timely state has confused all the calculus of the enemy by demonstrating its support for the Islamic Republic in difficult times.
The President, honouring the resilience and sincere services of the civil sector during the 12-day imposed war, viewed these efforts as fundamental elements that sustain and strengthen the country’s social capital.
Industrialists and merchants are the people who drive the country’s economy, he said, adding that his administration views it as an obligation to support them. The first step in this regard is to avoid creating obstacles and promote their activities.
Pezeschkian also mentioned his administration’s international efforts to promote the work of traders, stating that from the first day of his administration’s activities, the focus has been on developing relations with regional countries and the Islamic world, and on maintaining ongoing communication with officials from neighboring countries, promoting economic exchanges and eliminating trade Bahlia.
