TEHRAN – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi and his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed deep concern over the resumption of the fatal war of massacre over the fatal attack on Israeli “Yamen.”
Araguchi vehemently condemned the Israeli regime’s mass murder of around 1,000 innocent Palestinians since Tuesday, when Tel Aviv rebooted the war, highlighting the severe violation of the ceasefire agreement with the Hamas resistance movement in Gaza.
He also condemned the continued US attacks on Yemen. Yemen has led to the deaths of innocent women and children scores while destroying the critical infrastructure of an already poor country.
“The crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza and the US attacks on Yemen require urgent and collective responses from the regional and Islamic countries to halt these atrocities and prevent further uncertainty across the region,” Araghchi argued.
On his part, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed serious concern over the worsening of the local situation and described it as very surprising.
He emphasized the need for ongoing consultations between regional states to prevent further escalation and instability.
Reports say Israeli forces have stepped up air bombings and ground attacks in Gaza, targeting residential areas, hospitals and refugee shelters in blatant rebellion of international humanitarian law.
Similarly, repeated US airstrikes in Yemen have exacerbated the country’s humanitarian crisis. On Thursday, a US attack on residential areas in Yemen’s capital Sanaa killed several civilians, including children, and destroyed several homes.
The attack is part of Washington’s efforts to stop Yemen’s pro-Palestinian activities, which have targeted sensitive and strategic Israeli targets since the Gaza War resumed.
