President Pezeschkian made these remarks on a call with his Tunisian counterpart, Kais Said, on Thursday, congratulating the Tunisian government and people.
The Iranian president described the Hajj pilgrimage as a symbol of sacrificing flesh desires and overcoming the temptation of the devil, expressing his hope that the opportunity could promote intimacy among Muslim countries and bring prosperity and tranquility to the Islamic Umma.
Regarding the suffering of the people of Gaza, President Pezeshkian expressed his hope that through unity and solidarity among Muslim nations, they could condemn the crimes, war and bloodshed of the Zionist regime in Gaza and restore security and dignity to the oppressed nation.
On his part, Said expanded the celebration to the Iranian government and the people of Eid al-Ada, and described the opportunity as a symbol of unity among Muslims.
The Tunisian president emphasized the light-form of unprotected Palestinians, saying that the Holy Al-Qud was the first Qibla of Muslims and would remain the eternal capital of Palestine.
