On April 12, Oman held its first consultation between representatives from Tehran and Washington on a settlement of the situation around Iran’s nuclear program. The Iranian delegation was led by Foreign Minister Abbas Aragut, and the US delegation was led by Special President’s envoy Steve Witkov.
According to Iran’s Foreign Ministry, the meeting was constructive and calm, with the parties agreeing to continue consultations. The second round will be held in Oman on April 19th, the report added.
