In response to a recent report by Reuters, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei, arguing that Iranian officials are stating the possibility of compromise on Iran’s ability to compromise in consultations with the US, rejected such claims in the category, calling it “a rich principle of Iran.”
He described Reuters’ new claims as a continuation of ongoing news that has been repeatedly rejected and proven falsehoods.
Iran and the US held talks for the fifth round of Tehran’s nuclear program in Rome’s Italian capital on Friday. Just like in the previous round, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragut and President Donald Trump’s regional mission, Steve Witkov, led the negotiation delegation in consultation.
So far, both sides have explained that the consultations are constructive and positive.
