Tehran – Ayatollah Seiyed Ali Khamenei, leader of the Islamic Revolution, says Iran continues to advance across multiple sectors and Western pressure will not block the state from an independent course established more than 46 years ago.
The statement came at a commemorative ceremony in Tehran on Tuesday, attended by scientists, commanders and civilian families during the 12-day war between Israel and Iran.
During the ceremony, Ayatollah Khamenei described the recent imposed war as a manifestation of the will and strength of the Islamic Republic, an impressive display of the extraordinary solidity of its foundations. Emphasizing that the main reason behind enemy hostility is their opposition to the faith, knowledge and unity of the Iranian state, “By God’s grace, the Iranian state abandons its religious beliefs, expands its diverse fields of knowledge, or disappoints of the enemy will succeed in promoting Iran to the top.

Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that the Islamic Republic is built on two basic pillars: faith and knowledge. He states: “The religion of the people and the knowledge of our youth have been able to force our enemies in many different fields.
