He spoke in a telephone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman late Thursday, highlighting that Islamic countries can rely on shared commonalities and ensure peace, security and progress in themselves and their regions by strengthening unity and friendship among themselves.
President Pezeshkian also congratulated the Crown Prince, King and Saudi Arabian people on the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
If Muslim countries establish unity and friendship, they can prevent oppression and crime against several Islamic countries, including the oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza, he said, adding, “I am confident that by working together, Islamic countries can bring peace, security and prosperity to the entire region in the best possible way.”
Saudi Crown Prince Bin Salman has congratulated President Pezeshkian and the Iranian state on his side to Eid al-Fitr and expressing his gratitude for the Iranian president’s call for unity for Muslim unity.
He expressed optimism that the strengthened cooperation between Iran and Saudi Arabia will bring significant advances in regional stability, security and development.
The Saudi Arabia Crown Prince further emphasized that cooperation between Iran, Saudi Arabia and other countries could enhance regional peace, and repeatedly prepared for Riyadh, helping to address challenges related to regional de-escalation.
