TEHRAN – Iranian President Masuud Pezeshkian emphasized the resilience and unity of Iranian people in the face of foreign pressure.
He made a statement in a speech given Monday. The recent set-off between the Zionist regime and the US said that their advancement in their plot was largely due to the unity and decision of the Iranian people. “Our people are not “left” or “right,” he said. “They are citizens of this country. Iran is not part of a single group or faction. It belongs to all people, with their diverse views and perspectives.”
The president has reaffirmed that Iran will not succumb to bullying and threats. “We must work together, put the differences aside and collectively build the future of Iran,” he added.
Referring to the 12-day war with the Zionist regime in June, he praised the masses’ unreliable support and noted that people united to stop those who tried to sow a division among them.
In his speech on Sunday, Islamic Revolution leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei stressed the need to maintain national unity and strengthen public support for government officials in the aftermath of the latest conflict between Israel and the United States. He warned that Iranian enemies have now turned their eyes to strategies aimed at creating internal discord, as they have failed to kneel the nation through military conflict.
Ayatollah Khamenei made a speech at a mourning ceremony in Tehran marking the anniversary of Imam Reza (AS) martial religion, where he spoke in front of thousands of attendees. He described solidarity between people, governments and the military as “an invincible shield” that should not be undermined.
The leader pointed out that Iran’s immobility was forced to abandon what Washington described as “a humiliating demand for obedience,” highlighting the resilience demonstrated during the Israeli US attack war that began on June 13th. The conflict ended within June 25th, and after employed the royal family of Iran’s retaliatory missiles, the conflict ended.
Ayatollah Khamenei urged every segment of society, including intellectuals and media figures, to protect the spirit of unity forged during the war and to support state officials, especially the “hardworking and tireless president.”
