Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatti and his Iranian counterpart Abbas Aragchi discussed the latest developments in the region in a telephone conversation Wednesday.
The two senior diplomats expressed deep concern about the continued genocide in Gaza and denounced the illegal criminal scheme of the Zionist regime for military occupation of Gaza city and forcibly oust its residents. They also highlighted the need to immediately halt genocide and the immediate flow of humanitarian assistance to the strip.
Egypt’s Foreign Minister has presented a report on the latest status of his country and Qatar’s efforts to establish a ceasefire in Gaza.
Araguchi will refer to an emergency meeting of foreign ministers of Islamic Cooperation Organizations (OIC) and review the developments of Palestine and Gaza. It will be held in Jeddah with official request from the Islamic Republic. A dangerous plan called Greater Israel to occupy war-like policies, especially Islamic Arab lands.
