TEHRAN – The 13th Dushanbe International Book Exhibition “Kitobi Dushanbe 2025” (Dushanbe Books) opened on Monday in the capital of Tajikistan, with the participation of Iran.
The exhibition opened with a speech by Tajikistan’s Minister of Culture Matrubakorn Sattlyon, and was attended by a number of cultural and artistic figures, including Iranian Ambassador Alireza Haqikian.
The Iranian pavilion displayed a diverse collection of literature, science, and children’s books, which attracted great interest from visitors.
Minister Satryon, who visited Iran’s booth, praised Iran’s vibrant presence and active involvement in this prestigious cultural event.
More than 5,000 new titles are available from 40 international publishers in Tajikistan and Iran, China, Russia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.
